This self-build brick model from CaDA depicts a traditional Japanese corner restaurant/bar. Yakitori is a dish of grilled chicken skewers, while Izakaya is a fusion of ‘i’ (to stay) and ‘sakaya’ (sake shop), a place where customers could enjoy a drink and a meal. They are communal spaces that bring people together. The building includes opening doors and windows, while the side walls can be fully opened to allow easy access to the interior. The right-side of the model can be connected to other Japanese buildings in CaDA's range.
